PSA International, Sustainability Reporting and TCFD Alignment

Singapore (global network)2023 to present

PSA International publishes annual sustainability reports prepared in accordance with the GRI Universal Standards 2021, with climate reporting aligned with TCFD recommendations, supporting transparency on environmental, social, and governance performance across its global terminal network including ASEAN operations (PSA International, 2024, pp. 17, 24).

PSA's reporting covers, among others, greenhouse gas emissions (Scopes 1 and 2 on an equity share basis, and all relevant Scope 3 categories), energy and renewable electricity use, water and waste management, workforce health and safety, diversity and inclusion, community initiatives across PSA's countries of operation, and governance and risk management arrangements. Selected disclosures receive limited external assurance (PSA International, 2024).

Transferability

For other ASEAN port operators, PSA International demonstrates alignment of sustainability reporting with international frameworks while addressing regional and local stakeholder needs. Transferable elements include, among others, reporting in accordance with the GRI Standards, integration of climate reporting with broader sustainability disclosure, and external assurance of selected disclosures.
